Square Enix have released their newest game, The Last Remnant, for the Xbox 360. The new IP utilises the Unreal Engine 3, something that Square Enix are proud of- also the fact that this is the first game to be simultaneously released around the world.
John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix, Inc. and Square Enix, Ltd, had this to say:

Another official video for The Last Remnant, which includes gameplay and cutscenes for you to have a look at.
The game itself will be released worldwide on the 20th of November for the Xbox 360, the first time Square Enix are trying to do it simultaneously. Then it will appear on PS3 and Windows.
Square Enix have a lot of faith in this title, even calling it "a cornerstone for their worldwide strategy"

A short video has been released showing a few battles that can occur in The Last Remnant, complete with cheesy music and voice overs galore as the player inputs certain actions.
The Last Remnant will have a simultaneous release in Japan, North America and Europe, on November 20, 2008 for the Xbox 360, and then for the PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows at a later date. Its the first game by Square Enix to make use of the Unreal Engine 3.

Square Enix are hoping to boost a few sales in the UK by trying to entice more people to buy the game with the lure of downloadable content.
By pre ordering in the UK from 'select retailers', youll receive codes, which according to Computer and Videogames website could unlock special formation such as 'Catapult' and 'Scatterswarm'.

A few videos have been released and IGN have a number of them concerning gameplay in The Last Remnant.
Most are specific to the battle mechanics and graphically the game looks pretty good too.
The game will be available on November 20th for Xbox 360 and will follow at a later unspecified date on the PS3 and PC.
Rush Sykes is the main character and will be voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, who has made numerous anime and game voice over projects.
