Square Enix Sues Over Final Fantasy Sword ReplicasBy Blitzballer 295 days ago
It has been announced today that Square Enix have filed a federal lawsuit in the District of California against alleged infringers of their intellectual property.
The focus is on four wholesale retailers of unlicensed sword replicas which are found in four of their games and one CG animated film (probably Advent Children).
This is seen as a step up of SE's anti piracy enforcement as they seek to hit back at those individuals and organizations that infringe on their property:
