The Last Remnant is a game which is being billed as being directed at both Japanese and Western audiences by Square Enix.
It will be released for the XBox 360 on November 20, then for PS3 and Windows at a later time.
It will utilise the Unreal Engine 3, the first by Square Enix. Square Enix are pinning big hopes on this game doing well.

A video was shown behind closed doors at the Jump Festa in 2007 that hadnt seen the light of day until now. Some one managed to use a pretty good camcorder and record it- now its all over the internet.
The quality is fairly good and you can see what is going on within the GameTrailer video.

Rumour: PS3 To Get Exclusive FFVII Remake, Original FFVII To Be Available On XBLA And PSNBy Blitzballer 134 days ago
This move, if it turns out to be true, may go some way in placating some irate and saddened Square Enix fans at Final Fantasy XIII going multiplatform.
The rumour making the rounds around the internet is that Final Fantasy VII will indeed be remade- but exclusively for the PS3, with the original PS1 game coming to the PSN and XBLA.
An unnamed source at PlayStation Lifestyle seems to be what most sites are basing this information on, according to QJ.net.

E3 2008: FF VERSUS XIII Still Exclusive To PS3; Nomura Working On A New GameBy Blitzballer 141 days ago
Square Enix Executive, Shinji Hashimoto, has again stated that FF VERSUS XIII is a PS3 exclusive, in the wake of the surprising news from E3 2008, that FFXIII has gone multiplatform:
"We won't change policy," said Hashimoto. "Final Fantasy Versus XIII is still a PlayStation 3 exclusive."
Now im not sure if similar things were said when FFXIII was first announced, but at the moment Versus XIII is PS3 bound only.

Still recovering from the big announcement from Square Enix regarding FFXIII? Well, heres a brief diversion of a new trailer, shown at E3 2008, of The Last Remnant- they also revealed that the game will be coming to PC too.
The game is already coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3, the PC version will come after the console versions.
