The President of Square Enix, Yoichi Wada, is interested in acquiring more companies now that the Eidos takeover has been done and dusted.
In a bid to make Square Enix a much more global company and therefore increase interest and fanbase, Mr Wada has his eye on more talent:
“The combination of Eidos and Square Enix gives us a good platform from which to expand. In that process, we might decide to acquire another company,” Mr Wada said.

The Square Enix President, Yoichi Wada, gave a keynote speech regarding the Japanese gaming industry and how it had lost its position as leader. Wada went on to suggest ways of how developers could rectify the situation.
