Square Enix have issued a press release today, revealing the news that The World Ends With You is available in American stores!
Players will take on the role of Neku, who must complete certain tasks or he will cease to exist:

The World Ends With You will be released by Square Enix in America this coming April 22nd for the Nintendo DS at the price of $39.99.
It takes place in modern day Japan in the streets of Shibuya- the centre of Japans trendiest youth culture.
The player takes on the role of Neku, who wakes up in Shibuya with no idea how he got there- the added twist is that he must complete a certain mission or he will cease to exist.
