Some Final Fantasy fans are eagerly awaiting Final Fantasy Versus XIII more than the soon to be released in the western world Final Fantasy XIII.
Not much has been shown or revealed of Versus XIII in the past few months and people were sure of E3 being the platform where Square Enix would show off and reveal what they have done so far with the project.

Rumours are gathering regarding various companies that will be present at E3 this year, and while Square Enix wont be holding a conference and have scaled back their presence, three new titles are set to be unveiled at the event.
The website Gameplayer reveal that their sources have told them what the games are, but are under a strict gag order not to say until Square Enix themselves reveal them.

Details have emerged from E3 regarding the new expansion for Final Fantasy XI. A discussion was held at E3 and RPGamer were one of the few people who sat down with the makers of it. Outlined are the details for you:
The expansion will include 30 new areas, new monsters and jobs.
Regarding content, 70% will be aimed at experienced players and there will be new things to appeal to new gamers apparently as well.

Something old, something new. Its what you can expect from Square Enix with their policy to remake and spinoff their games. Theyve announced their E3 list of games, which courtesy of IGN, is listed below for you.
The glaring omission is of course FFXIII, which to be fair to SE, they did say it wouldnt make E3. The list below include six titles that are playable at the event:
