After the surprising announcement from Square Enix regarding a Chrono Trigger 'enhanced port' to the DS system over the past few days, first pictures and scans are starting to hit the internet.

Chrono Trigger is being released on the Nintendo DS system, according to many reports across the internet.
A full remake seems unlikely as the Famitsu scans, where the news originated, imply a simple port- but maybe with added content. The RPG giants could just be testing the water to see how well this does- then maybe a whole remake could be released.

The exclusive to PSP game, Dissidia: Final Fantasy, has had its official Japanese website updated in terms of character, information and story.
Basic information on confirmed characters appears in the respective section, such as the Warrior of Light, Firion, Squall and Ultemicia, Zidane and Kuja.
Those not in the know, the game appears to be one on one battles between figures of the many Final Fantasy games, with exp, gil and weapons etc to upgrade them too.

Square Enix have announced they are bringing some of their PS1 games to the PS Store- the Japanese PS Store that is.
Those of you with the PS Store or Virtual Console may have been waiting and anticipating that Square Enix might offer some of their classic backlog of games- it looks like things have come a step further, for the Japanese anyway.

The website Gamespy have a fantastic preview of five new job classes that have been revealed for Final Fantasy Tactics A2.
The job classes are Arcanists, Berzerker, Chocobo Knight, Geomancer, and Seer. The website has a little write up of each class and a video showcasing the respective class too.
The game is part of the Ivalice Alliance, which includes Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions and Final Fantasy XII International: Zodiac Job System.
