E3 2007 Square Enix Lineup

Something old, something new. Its what you can expect from Square Enix with their policy to remake and spinoff their games. Theyve announced their E3 list of games, which courtesy of IGN, is listed below for you.
The glaring omission is of course FFXIII, which to be fair to SE, they did say it wouldnt make E3. The list below include six titles that are playable at the event:
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker DS
Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors Wii

Another interview with the busiest man at Square Enix at the moment conducted by Next Gen.biz website regarding the FFXIII: Fabula Nova Crystallis project. Tetsuya Nomura has come a long way since being a 'monster designer' in 1990 for Final Fantasy V and of course his prominent role of character designer for FFVII. He will once again be designing the characters for the entire FFXIII: Fabula Nova Crystallis project as well as directing FF Versus XIII. He had a little to do with the Kin...

A new trailer has surfaced on YouTube for The Last Remnant, Square Enix's new franchise currently in development fo the PS3. No release date is set yet, but they are planning a simultaneous release in Japan and North America.

According to Japanese sources, echoing earlier reposts, Square Enix won't be publishing any of their upcoming PS3 titles until April 2008, at the very earliest. It was reported earlier that FFXIII wouldn't see release until after the end of the current fiscal year, which ends in March 2008. This latest report seems to confirm that as well as extending it to their other in-development titles.
Joystiq is predicting we won't see any of those titles outside of Japan until 2009 or...

The interview discusses Square Enix's plans to extend their merchandising for their games to a more global customer base.
