Square Enix have stated that there are no plans for a PS3 release. But of course that could change. |

It's simple: Square-Enix hates Sony now. | ||

Indeed. :p It's not just Microsoft, however. There's something else going on. I mean, everyone expected Square-Enix to release Dragon Quest IX on the PS3. But they decided to do it on the DS. (Dragon Quest is as much a popular series as Halo is in North America). Sony must have done something to S-E... |

Well maybe not. I think the inevitable FFVII remake etc will be released on the PS3 and that may be why they are showing love to other consoles at the moment. |

Well I don't know about that. They may be remaking it on the PSP instead. Or the DS. It wouldn't make sense remaking FFVII on the PS3 since you can already play the original game on the PS3... |

True Citan, but seeing as how FFVII was on a Sony console, and theyve been pretty much faithful in regards to the FF franchise to Sony, i think FFVII is destined for the PS3 rather than the PSP- its a game that deserves that. But never count anything out with SE! |
