More Mario Hoops Characters

Mario Hoops 3-on-3 Basketball for the Nintendo DS has already been revealed to include some Final Fantasy characters... which make at least some sense, given that the game is being developed by Square Enix. Since it's Japanese release, more characters have been revealed. Not from the Final Fantasy universe this time, but rather some of the classic Mario enemies. Catherine (Birdo in the U.S.), Dixie Kong, Patapata (the koopa-paratrooper), Propeller-Heyo (Helo-ShyGuy), and Teresa (a Boo Diddly) have appeared in the newly opened 3rd character page on the game's official Japanese site. Mario Hoops 3-on-3 (known as Mario Slam for the European market) was released in Japan back in July, and is set for release on September 11 in the U.S., and November 10 in Europe.
