KH: Chain of Memories remake confirmed

Ever since magazine scans showing card battles started surfacing earlier this month, various sites have been speculating that Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix might incorperate a remake of it's predecessor, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

Well, according to Japanese mag V-Jump, that looks to be the case. The GBA game, which follows the events that take place between the two main titles, is being fully remade for the PS2... meaning that the pretty, pretty Organization XIII bishies who were killed off before Kingdom Hearts 2 finally get to make their debut in their full 3D glory. Oh, and Sora, Goofy, and Donald, too, I suppose.

It's not out in the US yet. It came out with Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix+ in Japan. No word on a US release date yet but I still think it might be possible. I mean they didn't bring the original Final Mix out here but this has an entire remake in it. There's definitely money to be made!

Yeah... For all we know it might come as part of a PS3 bundle, taking advantage of backward compatability...
