Tokyo Game Show Dates Revealed

The Leipzig Games Convention has wound down, now everyone is focusing on the next big gaming event, where there should be a lot of announcements and reveals from the big gaming companies that are scheduled to appear there.
Naturally, this seems to be a big event for Square Enix every year so hopefully we should be expecting some surprises from them.
The event will be held from October 9th-12th and the list of companies there are as follows, according to QJ.net- warning, its a big list!

The creator of Final Fantasy Hironobu Sakaguchi has had an interview with Electronic Gaming Monthly where he expressed his distate for former Sony CEO Ken Kutaragi, questioned Microsoft's marketing strategy in Japan and admiration for Wii- though has no plans to make a game for the system yet.

Famitsu is a widely respected Japanese magazine that gamers and the gaming community take notice when they review the latest game or have images, scans etc. Kotaku have obtianed the Famitsu's Best of 2006 awards- some may surprise you, some you probably knew would win a particular category.
Heres the list for you. Some of the categories Kotaku have translated so they might not make much sense:
