Nomura has spoken about Crisis Core and its progress. The scenarios of the game are done but modifications of the battle system and recording of the voice talent are not. Nomura expects a demo version of the game to be available for the Christmas holidays and so release dates for the game are subject to be changed- the European release date was supposed to be December 2006 after all. Videos and clips of the game are expected by the end of the year too. Source: FFHybrid Add to Digg |

nifty. I still don't really understand what the hell Crisis Core is supposed to be though.

If I understand correctly, I believe it's supposed to be a prequel. I'm guessing you play through the events involving the entire Neblhiem(sp?) incident. I imagine there's more to it than just that, otherwise not many people would be wanting to play it.

It takes place prior to Before Crisis (which starts 5 years prior to FFVII and continues to to just before it, I believe), and follows Zack's story, from how he met Aeris, to his involvement with Sephiroth and Genesis. And Nibelhiem is probably somewhere in there, too.

Ah k. That seems vaguely more interesting to me than a sequel involving Vincent anyway

Nay! I have played Dirged of Cerberus. Its story line intrigues me greatly. |
