Mario Hoops to include Final Fantasy Characters

Yeah, you read that right. The new Super Mario Bros. inspired basketball game due out later this year for the Nintendo DS is going to include characters from the Final Fantasy series. Specifically, the Ninja, White Mage, Black Mage, Moogle, and Cactuar (or Sabotender for you purists out there) have been recruited. And just to prove that I haven't been licking the hallucinagenic toads again, you can go see for yourself by clicking HERE. Interesting little side note... near the top, there is a button that is meant to link to a third page of characters, but the section isn't open yet. What could Nintendo be hiding, I wonder? lol. ...oh, I should add more, right. Could be funny, I mean, Mario's way over-used anyways. Who's waiting for yet another game with just Mario, his bitch, his slave, his 'shroom, and that turtle dude? ...Ok, I'll add that that's a rethoric question, else I'll get a dozen Mario fanboys on my arse. First time in years (afaik) that Nintendo allows different characters in one of their Mario games, isn't it? |
