Details Emerge on Revenent Wings

Famitsu has made known a few new details reguarding the Final Fantasy XII spinoff from Nintendo DS, FFXII: Revenent Wings. First off, German gaming site GameFront writes that the game is neither a prequel nor a sidestory. Rather, it is an exploration of the relationship between Vaan and Penelo (ages 18 and 17, respectively), and their life as air pirates. The game will include all of the airships from the PS2 game, as well as some new ones, and the battle system will rely heavily on the DS's touch screen.
