Crisis Core playable at Jump Festa

Square Enix has announced Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, the next installment in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII for the Sony PSP, will be playable at this year's Jump Festa in December. Crisis Core is a prequel to Final Fantasy VII, taking place in the days prior to the mobile game Before Crisis and following the adventures of Zack, a character met only briefly in the original game. Crisis Core is expected to be released sometime next spring in Japan. Tentative release schedules for North American and European have not yet been announced.
