Advent Children currently top selling anime release

According to Nielson Vidscan, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is the number one selling anime DVD of 2006 for the year so far, selling twice as many copies as the second place title, Studio Ghibli's Howl's Moving Castle. The top ten best sellers for anime to date are as follows: 1. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children 2. Howl's Moving Castle 3. Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn 4. Karas - the Prophecy 5. Even if Howl's Moving Castle is at No. 2, it still sold pretty damn well. That said, it's about the only truly high quality thing on that list. Advent Children is good from a purely fan perspective... but for an outsider? It fails miserably.
