Minor Characters
Meyvn Nooj
The Meyvn, or leader, of the Youth League. Nooj was a former Crusader, a member of the Crimson Squad, along with Paine, Baralai and Gippal, until he was possessed by Shuyin and ended up betraying his friends. After the defeat of Sin he found himself in disagreement with the actions of New Yevon and thus founded the Youth League.
Gippal
The Al Bhed leader of the Machine Faction, which is based in Djose Temple. They are a group who excavate old machina and research the development of machina and weapons. Gippal was once friends with Nooj, Baralai, and Paine during their time in the Crusaders, and is also aquainted with Rikku.
Praetor Baralai
The newly-elected Praetor of New Yevon, Baralai is highly respected by the party's members. New Yevon has taken a conservative approach to rebuilding their world in the aftermath of Sin, their motto being "One thing at a time". Formerly a member of the Crimson Squad, he went to Seymour Guado for aid after Nooj's unexpected betrayal.
The Leblanc Syndicate
A group of sphere hunters consisting of Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi, as well as their various unnamed henchmen. They are rivals of the Gullwings, always attempting to outdo them. Leblanc is infatuated with Nooj, and would do anything for him. Logos and Ormi, likewise deeply care for Leblanc, even though the sentiments are unrequited.
Lenne
A beautiful woman with the talent of a summoner, Lenne was forced to battle on the front lines during the Machina War, due to her abilities. Her true calling, however, was that of a songstress. She expected to die in battle, but when her lover, Shuyin, attempted to use Vegnagun to save her, she stopped him, not wishing to see so many lives taken for her sake. She was gunned down with Shuyin in Vegnagun's chamber.
Shuyin
Lenne's lover, condemned to the cursed existance of an Unsent spirit because of his own hatred and sorrow. After being gunned down by Bevelle soldiers, his spirit lingered. His hatred grew so strong that Shuyin gained the ability to possess the living, and using them, he attempted to use Vegnagun once again, hoping to end his suffering and put an end to war once ad for all.
