The Tokyo Game Show isnt for a while yet, but the newest installment in the Crystal Chronicles series- Echoes of Time- has a TGS trailer, and its already been released onto the internet at the official site for the game.
Not much is known about the game, apart from the fact that it will be available for the Wii and Nintendo Ds platform and make use of the Pollux engine (created by Square Enix)

Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope is the next installment in the Star Ocean series, currently exclusive to Xbox 360.
It has been said the game will be more Sci Fi oriented than past versions and the player will have control of their own ship. The game takes place a few centuries before the original Star Ocean.
There is still no word on whether Square Enix will bring the title to Playstation 3, but they have confirmed the game will be playable at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show.

The latest Jump magazine has revealed yet another game in the Crystal Chronicles series and will have the subtitle Echoes of Time.
It is apparently a sequel to the Nintendo DS game, Ring of Fates, and will contain multi-player play. It will be available on both the Wii and the DS, and will be cross platform playable due to the "Pollux Engine"- Wii and DS users connect to each other with Wi Fi.

Star Ocean 4 is being developed by Tri Ace for the Xbox 360 and details have emerged today from the japanese magazine Famitsu regarding the game.
New characters have been revealed- Faize Sheifa Beleth and Lynle Remli Phi. They join the previously announced Edge Maverick and Reimi Saionji.
Faize belongs to a survey group on the planet Eldar. Hes smart and has powerful spells at his disposal.

Square Enix are showing the love for their Dragon Quest games, with the release of the Zenitha Trilogy, and news today that a date has been set for Dragon Quest IX, which is coming to the Nintendo DS platform.
March 2009 is the date for the Japanese release, no word yet on when it will be released overseas.
Also news that Square Enix will be holding a 90 minute Dragon Quest session each day at the upcoming TGS event too.

If you are anticipating the upcoming PSP game Dissidia: Final Fantasy, youve probably seen the scans and images of what looks like a chessboard- well this is apparently the world map and how players will encounter foes.
Different 'chessboards' will be available depending on which character you choose to be. Destiny Points (DP) allow you to move on the board- you earn DP in battle. One DP is enough to move one square and you are able to preview enemy stats if they are adjacent.

Another video has been released and found its way onto Youtube for Dissidia: Final Fantasy. This time the two characters featured are Garland and Warrior of Light, battling against each other.

Yoshinori Kitase and Shinji Hashimoto have held another interview regarding the multiplatform game Final Fantasy XIII in the latest issue of the Official Playstation Magazine (OPM) Australia.

The Last Remnant is a game which is being billed as being directed at both Japanese and Western audiences by Square Enix.
It will be released for the XBox 360 on November 20, then for PS3 and Windows at a later time.

Chalk this story, for now, under rumour but various game websites and our own Final Fantasy Republic Staff Member, Michael, have a number of reliable sources that say the sequel mobile game to Final Fantasy IV, called FFIV: The After, could be on its way to western shores.
